Human Development for a Middle East and North Africa in Transition — Embracing and Shaping Change

The World Bank’s new flagship report Embracing and Shaping Change: Human Development for a Middle East & North Africa Region in Transition explores the impact of megatrends on people in MENA, and propose a three-pronged policy response agenda. First, countries will need to introduce novel, “future-fit” policies across their Human Development (HD) sectors to manage risks, harness opportunities, and to some extent shape these megatrends.
